Abstract

De Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) is een van oorsprong Amerikaans gedragstherapeutisch behandelprogramma gebaseerd op de operante leerprincipes van B.F. Skinner (Skinner, 1938). Alcohol- en/of druggebruik worden beschouwd als gedrag dat onder invloed staat van bekrachtiging. De CRA-behandeling richt zich op het ontwikkelen van een nieuwe leefstijl die meer beloning geeft dan middelengebruik.
