Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk volgt eerst een korte uiteenzetting van het kenmerkende van indirecte methoden in de diagnostiek van de persoonlijkheid en worden verschillende van deze tests omschreven. Ook wordt ingegaan op de achtergrond van indirecte methoden en verschillende vormen en tests die hiertoe worden gerekend. De Thematische Apperceptie Test (TAT), onder andere de afname, instructie van de afname van de TAT en de SCORS-G als formeel scoringssysteem van de TAT-narratieven staan vervolgens centraal in dit hoofdstuk. Besproken wordt wanneer de TAT als meetmethode goed is in te zetten en een uitgebreide casus wordt gepresenteerd. Ten slotte gaat dit hoofdstuk in op sterke kanten en beperkingen van het gebruik van indirecte methoden in de psychodiagnostiek, in het bijzonder van de TAT en SCOR-G.
