De MIG: interventie bij gedesorganiserde gehechtheid

Samenvatting

Veel gehechtheidinterventies richten zich op het versterken van sensitief gedrag van de ouder. Bij gedesorganiseerde gehechtheidrelaties lijkt het belangrijk om de interventies ook te richten op het verminderen van verstoord affectief oudergedrag. De Modified Interaction Guidance streeft deze tweeledige doelstelling na. Mijn bevindingen met deze methodiek zijn positief, mits ouders naast sterk verstoord oudergedrag wel sensitief gedrag vertonen. Ouders die naast insensitief gedrag ook dissociatief gedrag vertonen en het contact met hun kind niet kunnen herstellen, lijken minder snel van de behandeling te profiteren.
