Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk wordt de verwerkingstechniek Imaginaire Exposure uitgebreid beschreven: in de eerste plaats het protocol en in de tweede plaats bijzonderheden zoals de geografie van de schokkende gebeurtenis, wat te doen bij te veel of te weinig spanning, Tekenexposure, microverwerking en in-vivo-exposure na afsluiting van de in-vitro-exposure. Ook lastigheden kwamen aan de orde. Daarnaast zijn de historie, wetenschappelijke publicaties en de werkingsmechanismen benoemd.
