Samenvatting

In het leven en de belevingswereld van mensen met dementie vinden gaandeweg het dementieproces veel veranderingen plaats. Als gevolg van de progressieve aard van dementie veranderen functionele mogelijkheden, interesses, maar ook relaties. Door de cognitieve, functionele en sociale beperkingen die mensen met dementie ervaren, ondernemen zij activiteiten waar zij vroeger plezier aan beleefden vaak niet meer.
