Samenvatting

Het oriënterend buikonderzoek wordt systematisch uitgevoerd in de volgorde: inspectie, auscultatie, percussie en palpatie. De in dit hoofdstuk beschreven onderdelen behoren tot het oriënterend onderzoek van de buik waarbij op indicatie verder onderzoek kan worden verricht. Hierbij is er aandacht voor de huid en buikwand, en de inwendige organen en bloedvaten. Speciale aandacht is er voor percussie en palpatie van de lever en de milt.
