Samenvatting

Echoscopie is het eerstekeuzeonderzoek om het endometrium te evalueren, het risico op endometriumcarcinoom in te schatten en andere oorzaken van abnormaal uterien bloedverlies te detecteren. We geven in dit hoofdstuk aan hoe een gestandaardiseerde beschrijving van de echoscopische kenmerken van het endometrium moet worden opgesteld en beschrijven de typische kenmerken van endometriumpathologie.
