Samenvatting

Hemorroïden zijn een zeer veelvoorkomende klacht tijdens het laatste trimester van de zwangerschap en na de bevalling.
Obstipatie is de grootste risicofactor voor het ontstaan of symptomatisch worden van hemorroïden.
Conservatieve adviezen zijn meestal voldoende om klachten te voorkomen of verlichten.
