Flexortenotomie als laatste redmiddel?

Samenvatting

Klauw- en hamertenen komen veel voor bij diabetespatiënten en leiden tot verhoogde druk op de distale uiteinden van digiti. In combinatie met neuropathie kan dit leiden tot overmatige callusvorming en ulceratie. Een weinig toegepaste invasieve ingreep is de flexortenotomie. De literatuur laat goede resultaten zien van deze operatie.
