Samenvatting

De fissuurtong wordt gekenmerkt door groeven in de tong die variëren in de diepte. De groeven komen met name voor op de tongrug en kunnen naar lateraal uitstrekken. De fissuurtong wordt in de literatuur ook lingua fissurata, lingua plicata, ‘scrotal tongue’ en ‘grooved tongue’ genoemd.
