Ernstige complicatie van gecannuleerde heupschroeven bij mediale collumfractuur: twee identieke gevallen

Samenvatting

In deze casuïstiek beschrijven we een zeldzame complicatie van gecannuleerde heupschroeven bij collumfracturen. Vooral bij jongere patiënten wordt heupkopsparend geopereerd met behulp van gecannuleerde heupschroeven. Naast de meest voorkomende complicaties, namelijk avasculaire kopnecrose, uitbreken van de osteosynthese en non-union, kan de heupschroef ook door de femurkop penetreren en door het acetabulum naar het kleine bekken migreren. Wij beschrijven twee identieke casus met een dergelijke complicatie.
