Effecten van waargenomen controle op de relatie tussen ouderlijk opvoedingsgedrag en symptomen van angst en depressie bij kinderen

Samenvatting

Dit vragenlijstonderzoek onderzocht effecten van waargenomen controle op de relatie tussen ouderlijk opvoedingsgedrag en symptomen van angst en depressie bij niet-klinische kinderen in de leeftijd van elf tot veertien jaar. De resultaten lieten zien dat negatief ouderlijk opvoedingsgedrag gepaard ging met meer symptomen van angst en depressie, die op hun beurt weer geassocieerd waren met lagere niveaus van waargenomen controle. Er werd geen overtuigend bewijs gevonden voor mediatie- of moderatie-effecten van waargenomen controle op de relatie tussen ouderlijk opvoedingsgedrag en symptomen van angst en depressie.
