Inleiding

Mevrouw Ibrahim is van Marokkaans-Berberse afkomst en komt bij de gynaecoloog omdat ze niet zwanger wordt. Er wordt een uterus bicornis (een gedeeltelijk dubbel aangelegde baarmoeder) geconstateerd. Mevrouw Ibrahim krijgt een ivf-behandeling en wordt dan al snel zwanger van een tweeling. Door de tweelingzwangerschap en de dubbele baarmoeder is de kans op vroeggeboorte echter vergroot.
