Een subtrochantaire femurfractuur bij een patiënte met pycnodysostosis

Samenvatting

Pycnodysostosis is een zeldzame erfelijke aandoening die door inhibitie van osteoclastfunctie zorgt voor systemische osteosclerose. In verband met fragielere botten komen fracturen van de lange pijpbeenderen frequenter voor bij patiënten met deze aandoening. Deze casus beschrijft een patiënte met pycnodysostosis met een subtrochantaire femurfractuur.
