Samenvatting

Chronische depressies hebben de afgelopen jaren steeds meer aandacht gekregen als specifieke categorie binnen de heterogene groep van depressieve stoornissen. Niet alleen vanuit epidemiologisch, maar ook vanuit behandelperspectief. Er zijn aanwijzingen dat Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy (CBASP) voor patiënten met een chronisch verlopende depressie meerwaarde heeft boven de gangbare psychotherapieën1.
