Samenvatting

Voor het samenstellen van een actief revalidatieprogramma bij schouderklachten door de fysiotherapeut of kinesist is patroonherkenning door anamnese, inspectie en functieonderzoek belangrijk; aanvullende testen dienen ter ondersteuning van het klinisch redeneerproces. In de diagnostiek staat het functioneringsprobleem van de patiënt centraal (ICF). Vooral de beperkingen in activiteiten vormen aanknopingspunten voor het actieve revalidatieprogramma. Bij de opbouw van het revalidatieprogramma wordt uitgegaan van een aantal principes: revalidatie verloopt van functieniveau naar activiteiten naar participatieniveau, de behandeling is gericht op de primaire oorzaak, de revalidatie verloopt van proximaal naar distaal en bij de opbouw worden trainingsprincipes volgens het KRS gehanteerd.
