Een interstitiële voorstekruisbandruptuur bij een vijfjarig meisje

Samenvatting

Interstitiële rupturen van de voorste kruisband bij jonge kinderen zijn zeldzaam. De diagnose kan worden gesteld aan de hand van anamnese en lichamelijk onderzoek, eventueel aangevuld met een MRI-scan. We beschrijven dit letsel aan de hand van de ziektegeschiedenis van een vijfjarig meisje en gaan in op de verschillende behandelingsmogelijkheden.
