4. Een Guinese vrouw met hiv

Inleiding

Mevrouw Touré is 21 jaar als zij ontdekt dat ze zwanger is. Ze bezoekt de huisarts in het asielzoekerscentrum (AZC) waar zij sinds drie jaar woont. Mevrouw Touré is afkomstig uit Guinee in West-Afrika. De huisarts legt haar uit dat zwangere vrouwen in Nederland standaard een bloedonderzoek krijgen aangeboden. Mevrouw Touré geeft toestemming voor het bloedonderzoek. Als de resultaten binnen zijn, wordt zij bij de huisarts geroepen. Uit het onderzoek blijkt dat zij hiv-positief is.
