Een glenoïdfractuur na een traumatische luxatie

Samenvatting

Fracturen van het glenoïd zijn zeldzaam en worden vaak veroorzaakt door schouderluxaties, meestal in combinatie met een hoogenergetisch trauma. Over het algemeen kunnen deze fracturen conservatief behandeld worden, tenzij er relatief veel dislocatie is. Dit is te verklaren door de relatief grote invloed van de weke delen op de stabiliteit in de schouder.
