Een fractuur van het collum femoris bij een kind

Samenvatting

Een fractuur van het collum femoris (collumfractuur) is zeldzaam op de kinderleeftijd. Vroege herkenning en chirurgische behandeling doen de kans op ernstige complicaties, zoals avasculaire kopnecrose, aanzienlijk afnemen. De behandeling bestaat uit (anatomische) repositie en fixatie. Wij beschrijven een casus van een 12-jarig meisje dat succesvol chirurgisch behandeld is met K-draden.
