Samenvatting

Van alle echoscopische beelden van de foetale anatomie zijn afbeeldingen van het foetale gelaat en profiel voor de zwangere en haar omgeving het herkenbaarst. Onderzoek wijst uit dat het zien van echobeelden van de foetus, in het bijzonder van het aangezicht, de hechting van de ouders en het ongeboren kind zou bevorderen.
