Dynamische interpersoonlijke therapie (DIT)

Een kortdurend psychoanalytisch alternatief voor de behandeling van angst en stemmingsklachten

Samenvatting

Ik beschrijf in dit artikel een nieuwe vorm van kortdurende psychodynamische psychotherapie,Dynamic interpersonal therapy, voor de behandeling van angst- en depressieve stoornissen. Het model is gebaseerd op de objectrelatietheorie, op de mentalisatie-bevorderende therapie en de gehechtheidstheorie, en op de interpersoonlijke psychoanalyse van Sullivan. In Nederland is een aanpassing gemaakt voor het werken met groepen. Daarnaast is er ervaring opgedaan met dit model bij de behandeling van onverklaarde lichamelijke klachten.
