Get things in perspective

Benny Goodman Senior lecturer in nursing, University of Plymouth

If course pressures appear overwhelming, take stock and maybe a break, says Benny Goodman

I am often reminded that the modern nursing student does not conform to the stereotypical image of the privileged varsity loafer, who whiles away long afternoons punting on the Cam in the shadow of King’s College, and fits in a little reading between sport, flirting and dining out. Truth be told, few Oxbridge students live this carefree life nowadays.
