Aim and objectives

The aim of this protocol is to ensure the appropriate management of patients with a parastomal hernia.

The objectives are to:

Understand the different types of parastomal hernia.

Understand the clinical characteristics and causes of parastomal hernia.

Minimise the risk of complications associated with parastomal hernia.

Ensure effective management.
