Two weeks ago, we revealed on our news pages that the final salary pension scheme for existing and new NHS staff had been saved but that nurses will end up paying more towards their pensions. This was confirmed with the publication last week of a joint proposal, Moving to the Future: The NHS Pension Scheme Review, from NHS Employers and health unions.
