Abstract
Summary: In our study we investigated the psychometric properties of the Socially Anxious Cognitions Scale for Children (SÄKK). This scale is a measure designed for children and is based on the Children’s Cognitive Assessment Questionnaire (CCAQ). We presented it to 600 pupils along with the German version of the Social Phobia and Anxiety Inventory for Children (SPAI-C). The new instrument showed good psychometric properties. Normative values for the SÄKK are presented for grades 3-6.
