De SBAR-methodiek: Klinisch redeneren voor dialyseverpleegkundigen

Samenvatting

Klinisch redeneren helpt verpleegkundigen om hun handelen te onderbouwen en de kwaliteit van zorg te verbeteren. Verschillende studies tonen aan dat je het klinisch redeneervermogen bij verpleegkundigen kunt vergroten als je er een speciale methodiek voor introduceert. De SBAR-methode is zo’n methodiek. Op de dialyseafdeling van het Slingeland Ziekenhuis en het Gelre Ziekenhuis werd het effect van deze methode onderzocht.
