De rol van gemeenten bij intergenerationeel leren van basisvaardigheden

Een rijkere taalomgeving in het gezin

Samenvatting

De basisvaardigheden zijn bij veel Nederlanders van een te laag niveau. Twaalf procent van de Nederlanders tussen 16 en 65 jaar is laaggeletterd. Belemmerend bij de aanpak van lage basisvaardigheden, is dat de problematiek van generatie op generatie wordt doorgegeven. Om dit patroon te doorbreken stellen wij een nieuwe aanpak voor: het intergenerationeel leren.
