Samenvatting

Prostaatspecifiek antigeen (PSA) is een van de bekendste, meest gebruikte en meest controversiële serummarkers in de hedendaagse geneeskunde. Het wordt ook wel een van de belangrijkste tumormarkers van het afgelopen decennium genoemd, terwijl dit feitelijk niet juist is.
