Een literatuuroverzicht met implicaties voor het beleid

Abstract

In dit artikel wordt het onderzoek samengevat naar het effect van groepspsychotherapie in vergelijking met individuele behandelingen in de geestelijke gezondheidszorg. Systematische literatuurstudies hebben aangetoond dat gemiddeld genomen beide modaliteiten even effectief zijn. Vervolgens wordt aandacht besteed aan enkele specifieke aspecten van (kortdurende) groepsbehandelingen. De bevindingen uit de literatuur geven het management van GGZ-instellingen genoeg redenen om in hun beleid het aanbod van groepspsychotherapieën te accentueren.
