Samenvatting

Het hoofdstuk Context staat stil bij de begrippen context en omgeving in relatie tot het dagelijks handelen en ergotherapie. Er wordt een onderscheid gemaakt in verschillende domeinen van de context. In het verdiepende deel wordt ingegaan op hoe context in verschillende ergotherapiemodellen wordt gedefinieerd. Er is aandacht voor de transactionele relatie tussen persoon, context en dagelijks handelen en hoe de context aangrijpingspunten biedt aan ergotherapeuten om het dagelijks handelen van een persoon, systeem, organisatie of gemeenschap te optimaliseren. De context is steeds in ontwikkeling en ook dit heeft een invloed op de ergotherapiepraktijk. We staan stil bij hoe ergotherapeuten aandacht kunnen hebben voor duurzaamheid en occupational justice.
