Complicaties van gebruik van hoekstabiele reconstructieplaat bij midschacht-claviculafracturen

Samenvatting

In een retrospectieve cohortstudie worden de complicaties beschreven van 94 plaatosteosynthesen van midschachtfracturen van de clavicula. Bij 63 patiënten werd een hoekstabiele reconstructieplaat gebruikt, bij de anderen een conventionele plaat. In twee gevallen trad plaatbreuk op, in twee gevallen uitbreken van de schroeven, eenmaal was de plaat verbogen en één keer trad een infectie op. In vergelijking met de literatuur zijn de complicaties van osteosynthese van claviculafracturen met hoekstabiele platen vergelijkbaar met die van conventionele platen.
