12. Complicaties in de kraamperiode

Samenvatting

Na een ongecompliceerde baring verloopt de kraamperiode vaak ook zonder complicaties. Een afwijkend verloop van de kraamperiode komt vaker voor na een langdurige baring en na een sectio caesarea. In dit hoofdstuk worden de infecties aan het urogenitale stelsel, trombose en fluxus alsmede post partum thyroïditis en psychopathologie besproken. Een aantal complicaties bij de neonaat komt ook aan de orde.
