In Children Living in Transition: Helping Homeless and Foster Care Children and Families, Cheryl Zlotnick compiled the stories of the frontline workers from the Center for the Vulnerable Child (CVC) who help children and family in homeless shelters or foster care. These professionals, who range from the medical, nursing, mental health, case management, outreach and social service professions, seek to provide insight into working with children and families living in transitional situations.
