Abstract
Located at the intersection of Europe, Asia, and Africa, and bathed in a long history of trade with various Indian Ocean empires, the United Arab Emirates has become one of the most diverse countries in the world. Indeed diversity, alongside traditional Emirati culture, has become a visible component of the societal character.
