Abstract
This chapter provides details about the presentation of results and the dissemination of intervention research with proof-of-impact. This chapter focuses on the presentation of the main results of an intervention research study based on practical and statistically significant findingsĀ andĀ details the development and presentation of practice, policy and research recommendations. The dissemination of research findings to policy and practice organisations, and the translation of research findings to policy and practice are also discussed. The effect size of SHAHRP consumption data are presented, sample recommendations from the SHAHRP Study are provided along with details of the SHAHRP dissemination project and the SHAHRP Refresh Project, both of which describe examples of past dissemination processes of the SHAHRP study. Objectives: By the end of this chapter readers will be able to:
-
Report key research results
-
Construct key setting-related recommendations
-
Identify methods that researchers can use to disseminate findings beyond traditional scientific methods
