Abstract
Pacing of the heart to overcome conduction and rhythm abnormalities has come a long way. Over the decade much progress has been made due in part to improvements in the understanding of mechanisms and, in part, to technical innovations. In the slip stream of these achievements the need is felt to review cardiac anatomy as it relates to cardiac pacing.
