Samenvatting
Afwijkingen van de tricuspidalisklep krijgen de laatste jaren meer aandacht. De resultaten van mitralisklepchirurgie zijn bijvoorbeeld beter als ook bijkomende tricuspidalisklepinsufficiƫntie wordt behandeld. In dit hoofdstuk wordt dan ook de echocardiografie van de tricuspidalisklep beschreven. Via welke echocardiografische opname kan welk deel van de tricuspidalisklep in beeld worden gebracht? Wat zijn de oorzaken van tricuspidalisklepstenose en tricuspidalisklepinsufficiƫntie? Hoe wordt de ernst hiervan bepaald? Wat is Morbus Ebstein en hoe ziet een tricuspidalisklepatresie eruit?
Na bestudering van dit hoofdstuk is de lezer in staat een antwoord op deze vragen te geven en heeft ook de kennis om tricuspidalisklepafwijkingen met echocardiografie te analyseren.
