Zusammenfassung

In Kap.1 wurden unterschiedliche Auffassungen ▸ von Theorie dargestellt. Angesichts dieser Verschiedenheit verwundert auch die Feststellung nicht, dass es zusätzlich noch unterschiedliche Auffassungen über das Wesen eines Praxismodells gibt und darüber, wie Modelle zu beschreiben sind. Darum geht es in diesem Kapitel. Der Begriff ▸ „Modell“ wird hier für jede Form einer Beschreibung von Berufspraktiken benutzt, die von Therapeuten entwickelt wurden. Manchmal werden die Worte „Theorie” und „Modell“ synonym verwendet. Christiansen u. Baum (1997) bemerken: „Ein Überblick über die wissenschaftliche Literatur der Ergotherapie zeigt bald, dass unter den Verfassern wenig Übereinstimmung darüber herrscht, wie das organisierte Fachwissen zu beschreiben ist. Die Begriffe ▸ ‚Theorie‘, ▸ ‚Modell‘, ▸‚Bezugsrahmen‘ und ▸‚Paradigma‘ werden auf verschiedenste Weise benutzt, um Teilmengen des beruflichen Wissens darzustellen“ (S. 41).
