Abstract

The neurons of Figs. 27, 28 and 29 had axons measuring 2.7, 4.7 and 6 mm (pyramidal cells), 17 mm and 10.2 mm (stellate cells), 3.2, 4.4, and 2.3 mm (Martinotti cells) (Braitenberg 1978b). If we apply correction IIb rather than IIa, the figures for the pyramidal cells become 3.2, 5.5 and 7.0 mm, and those for the Martinotti cells 3.8, 5.2 and 2.7 mm. These figures deserve some comments.
