Psychological Approach to the Rehabilitation of Coronary Patients

Abstract

In our first follow up study of patients who had survived myocardial infarction in 1970 (1), we chose return to work as the simplest, most reliable and most easily measured index of successful rehabilitation. In order to estimate the physical severity of the disease, we used a simple classification of clinical features (Table 1).
