Abstract
When the intracranial pressure is recorded for extended periods of time, the information contained in the record may be difficult to glean from mere inspection of the long, irregular tracing. Some sort of condensing and ordering procedure may be desirable to depict the characteristic features. We have chosen to analyze the quantitative representation of different pressure classes in the record, i.e. the pressure-class frequency distribution. In an earlier study [1] based on this method the data was extracted from the curves manually. Since then a special apparatus has been constructed which performs the analysis.
