Zusammenfassung
Das ungeborene Kind ist potenziell durch eine Vielzahl möglicher mütterlicher Erkrankungen, mütterlicher Immunreaktionen, Medikamente oder auch eine Abhängigkeit von Suchtmitteln gefährdet. Die Folgezustände beim Neugeborenen, insbesondere das neonatale Drogenentzugssyndrom, werden zu selten diagnostiziert, da u. a. die Kenntnis dieser verschiedenartigsten fetalen und neonatalen Erkrankungen oft unzureichend ist. Dies kann zum Nachteil des Kindes werden, da für viele solcher spezieller Erkrankungen des Neugeborenen wirksame Behandlungsmethoden zur Verfügung stehen.
