Abstract
Few situations generate as much anxiety and stress as speaking in public. Sure, you get the seasoned motivational speakers leaping across the floor bouncing off flip charts, or comedians basking in the raucous laughter of the tear-faced audience, or politicians heckling each other randomly like a tea party of jackdaws, but they sign up to all that. The majority of the rest of us don’t routinely speak in public, so when we do, it’s an issue … a big issue.
