Abstract
Community is a nebulous concept in many aspects, as is quality of life and related concepts. At the same time, there are several aspects that cross between these areas, and are mutually supportive. Given the need and importance of community, it is tied intricately to well-being and quality of life, and especially at the level of community well-being. This essay provides a look at some foundational concepts, and relates community to quality-of-life dimensions.
