Abstract

Selective eating is a common problem among children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). These particular problems are very heterogeneous in nature. Additionally, attempts to modify these unusual behaviors often result in challenging behaviors and other comorbid problems. These feeding problems are defined, and prevalent data are reviewed along with how they interface with comorbid ASD symptoms and other comorbid conditions.
