Abstract

Successful acquisition and utilization of the Affect Regulation Training (ART) Skills depends on regular practice of the skills by the participants during the intervals between training sessions and also after the sessions have concluded. Participants are encouraged to dedicate themselves to practice the skills regularly in order to receive the maximum benefit from the program. Several options are available to ART participants to establish a daily practice regimen of the ART Skills. These options include the participant handbook, guided audio exercises, and a text message-/email-based coaching system.
