Abstract
Physical and verbal aggression is a widespread problem, one not unique to autistic adolescents (Buss, 1961; Ulrich & Favell, 1970). Nevertheless aggression can have very serious consequences for autistic individuals who engage in it. Aggression, particularly frequent or intense aggression, can severely disrupt autistic individuals’ lives, as well as the lives of those with whom they live.
