Abstract
Although the topic of sibling relationships in adulthood and old age has received relatively little research attention in the past, an increase in research interest in this area over the past decade has paralleled the surge in research on sibling relationships in childhood and adolescence. However, studies of adult siblings have been, for the most part, broadly focused empirical explorations. These research findings will be examined in this chapter.
