Abstract
The investigation of higher visual function, in particular, of visual or optic gnosis, is an important part of the clinical psychological examination for the localization of brain lesions. Not only does it reveal the state of the cortical divisions of the optic analyzer, but in some cases it may also help to identify disturbances in other regions that affect the processes of visual analysis and synthesis.
